Dual Specs feature was released in patch 3.1. It allows classes to literally have 2 specs at the same time, allowing players to switch back and forth between them. To setup dual spec feature, simply speak to your class trainer, ask about dual spec and pay the 1000G and then you will receive the ability. Go to your talents window and you will see a new “Secondary Talents”, click on the icon to setup your second spec and glyphs.

Dual Spec Trainer – Your Class Trainer

Dual Specs Requirement – level 40 or above

Dual Spec Feature – Adds a secondary talent spec to your talent window, allowing two specializations (you can have a holy priest spec and a shadow priest spec and then instantly switch between the two depending on who you are fighting)

Dual Specs Limitations – You cannot switch specs during an arena, battleground, or when your character is in combat
Dual Spec Respec Options – If you want to respect, you respect one at a time, you don’t have to do both

Dual Spec Gear Change – They are currently working on a “Gear Manager” to make it easier to switch gear when using the dual specialization ability.

Dual Specs Glyphs – Your glyphs will be tied to each spec separately

New Talent Tree Feature – You may now spend all of your talent points to see what the spec would look like, and then finalize them by saving the spec. This is a change from the old system of having to spend them to see what your talent tree would look like.
